We all know and love Harrods, this time let's focus on little hidden area on 4th floor with a champagne terrace. It is located next to the ladies fashion on the 4th floor, how convenient !
A champagne terrace is a much needed retreat after a long shopping trip to refresh and refuel. This little area is wonderful in the summer and winter as it has both open and closed areas. For a lovely summer day you can enjoy a fresh breeze and a view of London with your champagne glass and perhaps some little snacks. In the winter when it is a bit too fresh to be outside you can still enjoy it in the closed glass area.
This champagne terrace is super lovely with little tables and seating areas, perfect for a little tete-a-tete after shopping to get a little cosy or for friends catching up after a bit of browsing in the store.
The champagne itself, Perrier-Jouet is served in beautiful branded glasses and is of course very delicious and refreshing. There are other champagne choices as well. You can enjoy oysters with your champagne or other little snacks which are absolutely delicious, like mini lobster rolls... absolute dream! A perfect place for a date or as a prelude to a romantic dinner... also a late champagne lunch when we are pretending we are on a diet. ;-)
The service is as always in Harrods - impeccable and super friendly and lovely. It is a place you never want to leave... and if you do , you want to come back immediately.
