Bluebird is a Chelsea institution for a very long time. It is a multifunctional venue that is suitable for many occasions and it is a huge advantage. Has it coped with a the reality of the 'new normal' though? Yes, is the short answer, Bluebird is still the same fun place! What a relief !
The restaurant and bar area upstairs is still buzzing and fun , lovely decor that is being updated depending on events and time of the year. I have recently visited the Bluebird restaurant and I still love it. The menu is also being updated and has fish and vegetarian options that are very tasty. Curry monkfish was lovely and to start, a salad. The food changes seasonally though but my experience was always good over the years.
The service is super nice and helpful. This place has a lovely vibe and a feel good atmosphere. The bar has a very nice sofas and seating areas as well as the bar area which was very fun before 2020.
Downstairs , a famous outdoor area for lunch and brunch in a true Chelsea style! Great area to catch up with your friends and have a mini holiday , pretending we are in a beach club. It has some summer sun beds as well as regular tables. Rose all day type of place! They host events like Wimbledon tennis on large screens, this is a when it gets super busy.
There is also a cafe as well where you can grab a quick bite or a coffee after a King's Road shopping.
Overall a great place, a symbol of Chelsea and King's Road, I am so happy it is still going strong in 2021.
